模擬国連大阪 is a two day event where students take the roles of countries and pretend to be ambassadors. This year the topic is Protecting the Rights of Refugees. This problem is very timely and important for all people in the world to think about.
Six Jogakuin students are representing Austria, Iran and Rwanda. The MUN (模擬国連大阪) is done all in English! Only the informal talking can be done in Japanese. Although very difficult the students have raised their hands and have spoken for their countries.
This is a great chance for student to learn about the role of the UN and how each country thinks about world problems.
